CRAT

The Consortium for the Research in Automation and Telecommunication (CRAT) was founded in 2006 on the initiative of Prof. Francesco Delli Priscoli and Prof. Roberto Cusani with the involvement of Prof. Alberto Isidori and Eng. Manlio Proia.

The consortium is currently composed by the universities

• Politecnico di Bari
• University of Sannio

and the companies

• Thales Alenia Space Italia
• TopNetwork

CRAT applied research is focused on Telecommunication Systems, both terrestrial and satellite ones, Computer Systems and Energy Systems. In addition, CRAT takes part in National and European research projects and carries out applied research on behalf of companies or public and private institutions.

Headquarter: The office is located in Via Giovanni Nicotera 29, Rome.

Personnel: The research activities are mainly carried out by the staff of the following departments:
